नई दिल्ली। कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी को मात देने के लिए दिल्ली में डिस्ट्रिक्ट डे केयर कैंसर सेंटर स्थापित करने की कवायद शुरू हो गई है। इसके लिए दिल्ली के चार अलग-अलग अस्पतालों का चयन किया गया है जहां मरीज को कीमोथेरेपी की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। शुक्रवार से इस संबंध में दिल्ली स्टेट कैंसर इंस्टीट्यूट में चिकित्सकों और नर्सिंग अधिकारियों का प्रशिक्षण शुरू हो गया। प्रशिक्षण के लिए इंस्टीट्यूट को नोडल केंद्र बनाया गया है।

दिल्ली स्टेट कैंसर इंस्टीट्यूट (DSCI) को भारत सरकार की पीएम-डिस्ट्रिक्ट डे केयर कैंसर सेंटर्स (PM-DCCC) पहल के तहत प्रशिक्षण हेतु नोडल केंद्र के रूप में चयनित किया गया है। इस पहल के अंतर्गत गुरूवार को डीएससीआई में जेनरल ड्यूटी मेडिकल ऑफिसर्स (GDMOs) एवं नर्सिंग अधिकारियों के लिए प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की गई।

नई दिल्ली: राजधानी दिल्ली के लोगों को अब घर के पास ही कैंसर के इलाज की सुविधा मिलनी शुरू हो जाएगी. उन्हें बार-बार कैंसर के इलाज के लिए बड़े-बड़े अस्पतालों के चक्कर नहीं लगाने पड़ेंगे. इसके लिए एक बार मरीज का इलाज कैंसर के बड़े अस्पताल में शुरू कराना पड़ेगा. उसके बाद फिर फॉलो-अप के लिए उन्हें बार-बार अस्पताल नहीं जाना पड़ेगा. घर के नजदीक ही प्रधानमंत्री जिला डे केयर कैंसर सेंटर (पीएम-डीसीसीसी) पर कैंसर के इलाज की सुविधा उपलब्ध होगी.
